Zayn, who always think of himself as the oldest among his band mates and there were a lot of restriction when it comes to his style and looks.
He wants to color his hair or keep his beard but he was not allowed to do so. With all the restriction made him decide that it is eating his identity and that's not what he wants at the first place.
“It was about denying the authenticity of who I was, and what I enjoyed about music, and why I got into it,” Malik explained. “That was always there. It was one of the things that wasn’t going to go away, so I had to go away.”
Though Malik is now focused on his music, but the star always finds a away to give enough time for his relationship with Gigi Hadid, 20.
“I try to keep the two very separate. I try to, as much as I can. But there’s only so much you can do. I’m learning to deal with it,” he noted. “It’s just one of those things now, in the background. I just leave it as a bit of noise in the background.”
For Hadid's sexy role in his music video, Malik said it was fun doing the music video.
“We were just messing around,” he said. “It wasn’t even, like, part of the shoot. You know when they say, ‘Action’? They didn’t do that. It was just rolling.”
